for book club, Steph picked this book. At first I thought it would be just a historical fiction, but it turned out to be that and a whole lot more, plus some great romance thrown in. Steph came to book club prepared with thought provoking questions. It was so fun. Sara was a perfect heroine, and it was really fascinating to follow her from a gangly teen to an adult running a prosperous cattle ranch. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read about the Arizona territories, pioneers crossing the plains, sheer girl power, or just really enjoys a good book. It was unanimous at the club this book was a hit.
