Handsome fellow isn't he, who doesn't love Mark Twain?
Enjoyability: ++
Rating: A, not really anything offensive, unless you don't have any sense of humor.
This was introduced to me by a friends who had me listen to it on Audio CD. If even your have a chance to do that, I recommend it for this particular book. Listening to it be narrated made it all that more funny. The ultimate mental battle between man and women and the sweet story of the first case of love, are shown in a witty and timeless way by Mr. Twain. You'll laugh until you cry, and have a little more insight to or first mother and father.
A Quote from MT on this piece of work: " A little gem if I do say it myself"
Summary: MT claims he found original diaries of Adam and Eve and shares with us their discovery of themselves, each other and the new 'earth'. This is also one of the rare times you'll see MT write from a women's point of view.
Quote from book: Monday (Adam) " This new creature with the long hair is a good deal in the way. It is always hanging around and following me about. "I don't like this; I'm not used to company. I wish it would stay with the other animals.......Cloudy to-day, wind in the east; think we shall have rain....WE? Where did Ii get that word? - I remember now - the new creature uses it."
